Introduction

Creating an inclusive and supportive environment has long been part of the way we work at Bird & Bird.

In 2022, we formalised this commitment through the launch of our global diversity and inclusion strategy. Developed in response to insights from our 2020 global D&I survey and firm-wide engagement, the strategy establishes D&I as a core global business priority. It sets out a clear framework for how we approach inclusion across the firm, clarifies our strategic priorities, and lays the foundation for long-term, detailed action plans. Our aim is to foster a culture of belonging for all, grounded in inclusive behaviours and supported by a focused effort to improve representation across all areas of our firm.
